Focus and Scope

Journal of Curriculum Innovation and Pedagogical Practice aims to facilitate and promote the exploration, analysis, and dissemination of research findings related to curriculum innovation and pedagogical practices across all levels of education—primary, secondary, and higher education—both in formal and non-formal settings. This journal welcomes studies that contribute to new developments, contemporary issues, and transformative approaches in curriculum design and teaching practices.

The scope of the journal includes, but is not limited to:

  • strategic studies on curriculum innovation and curriculum development;

  • implementation and evaluation of curriculum changes at various educational levels;

  • pedagogical practices and learning models across disciplines;

  • character education and value-based education in diverse educational contexts;

  • development and integration of technology-enhanced learning media and digital pedagogy;

  • technology adoption, AI-based learning tools, and digital transformation in instructional processes;

  • incorporation of local wisdom, culture, and contextual-based approaches in teaching and curriculum design (such as ethnopedagogy, ethnoscience, ethnomathematics, etc.).
