Review Process

Peer Review Process
The submitted manuscript is first reviewed by an editor to evaluate its suitability with the Journal of Innovation and Information Technology Works (JIKTEKS) focus and scope, as well as to identify any major methodological flaws. Manuscripts passing this initial stage will be sent anonymously to two reviewers (Blind Review). Reviewers’ comments are then forwarded to the corresponding author for necessary revisions and responses.

The decision on the revised manuscript will be evaluated in an editorial board meeting, and the final decision will be communicated to the corresponding author.

Review Outcomes
Using feedback from the review process, the Editor will make a final publication decision. The review process typically takes 4 to 12 weeks. Decision categories include:

  • Reject – Rejected manuscripts will not be published, and authors will not be allowed to resubmit a revised version to JIKTEKS.

  • Resubmit for Review – The manuscript requires substantial improvement and may be resubmitted for another round of review.

  • Accept with Revisions – The manuscript is accepted with minor or major revisions required. Revisions will be reviewed by the editorial team to ensure all necessary changes are made before publication.

  • Accept – The manuscript is accepted as it is and will be published without further modification.

Correspondence
All correspondence regarding manuscripts should be addressed to the Editor of Jurnal Inovasi dan Karya Teknologi Informasi (JIKTEKS) and cc to jikteks@icekapublisher.org. The Editor will direct all communications to the corresponding author, who is responsible for sharing information with co-authors.
