This study aims to analyze the effect of implementing an Ethnopedagogy-based Deep Learning model in improving elementary school students' critical thinking skills through a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) approach. The study was conducted by reviewing eight national and international scientific articles discussing the implementation of local culture-based learning in the context of deep learning. The research method follows the PRISMA 2020 guidelines, which include the stages of identification, screening, feasibility assessment, and final analysis. The results of the study indicate that the integration of Deep Learning and Ethnopedagogy consistently has a positive impact on improving students' critical thinking skills through reflective, contextual, and collaborative learning. This approach helps students develop analytical and evaluation skills by linking academic concepts to their familiar cultural experiences, making the learning process more meaningful and rooted in their social context. However, the implementation of this model still faces challenges such as limited digital infrastructure, teacher readiness, and lack of professional training. The findings of this study emphasize the importance of developing learning that is grounded in local culture while oriented towards the formation of in-depth critical thinking skills to create a generation of reflective, innovative, and character-based learners.
